Costa Rica
December 3 - December 9, 2011
Say bienvenida (welcome) to a new way of life as you adjust your
daily routine to one that includes the luxury of beaches, tropical
delicacies and friendly people. The citizens of San Jose are the
primary reason the city has been referred to as one of the friendliest
cities in the world. Lets be honest, who wouldnt be friendly living in
a city ripe with warm temperate, bananas and coffee beans! The age-old
debate about what makes a person happy has been satisfied - look no
further than a Costa Rican vacation.
This little country doesnt let its small territory keep it from
being over grown with luxurious flora and fauna fostering the perfect
pura vida (pure life) vacation. Comparable to the size of Vermont,
this eco-diversity destination is teeming with beaches, national parks,
animals, thermal hot springs, and rainforests.
Your pura vida in Costa Rica would not reach its climax without a
visit to La Fortuna and its active volcano, and Humid Forest. The most
fulfilling way to enjoy this volcano is by hiking near the Arenal
Volcano National Parks first lava flow (1968). The hike permits an
opportunity to see some of the current activity and see the view from
the Arenal Lake. Take time to relax your mind, spirit and body while
enjoying the therapeutic volcanic hot springs. The hot springs have a
magnificent infrastructure of pools, waterfalls and wet bars that will
make your visit an amazing experience!
Tamarindo is a gorgeous beach town that offers dining, beaches, surfing
and high-end shopping. Its a wonderful way for the locals to blend
their culture with the best of Europe, the United States and South
America. Gourmet restaurants, clubs, bars, souvenirs shops and beautiful
boutiques intermix with all of the standard staples.
